“ I love some good Mexican food. I was very excited to try this place out. We made reservations in advance for a Saturday night, so we had no issues waiting for a table. After we were seated, I ordered a spicy blood orange margarita. They also provide you with complementary chips and salsa. I enjoyed the salsa here. Very good. The chips were standard. My margarita however, was perfect. Hints of spice and lots of tequila. I drank that so fast. After chatting for a bit, we ordered the appetizer sampler. This came with a nice selection of food items to try. My favorite was the Buffalo cauliflower. A great tangy sauce it was dipped in. But the fried jalapeños and corn dip were both pretty good too. This was a prefect app to get. For our main meals, we ordered a Buffalo Chicken burrito and 4 Tacos (2 steak & 2 shrimp). The burrito was amazing. It was fully loaded and so good. The chicken was crispy and super flavorful. It was so large, I couldn't finish it all. The Tacos were good too, but not the greatest. I wish I would of ordered the street tacos instead. I wasn't a fan of the tortilla shells, and should of got the corn shells. But the meats were still delicious. Good tasting steak and shrimp they have here. I will definitely be back. ”

“ We tried Rosalitas for the first time on a Monday. It has that casual, lively Mexican restaurant vibe. Our server was very friendly but did disappear once dinner was served for a little and we were left with finished dinner plates in front of us. Appetizers Chicken empanadas Entrees Beef fajitas Chicken fajitas Chopped crispy salad w salmon Baja tacos Dessert churros Food was good overall, would come back, however, not run back. ”

“ Festive and colorful ambience and atmosphere! The service was prompt! Margaritas were really good though the frozen one didn't to seem to have as much alcohol! Different kind of Mexican than we were used to. The chips were awesome, the salsa chunky but had a sweetness to it. Good but not preferred. The guacamole was good! Hard to determine if house made or out of a tub! The chicken fajita was good! Looks like the chicken breast is pre-cooked and placed on the sizzling vegetables. The beef burrito was also good. Menu had several jerk items on it and that was a new twist for Mexican food from our perspective. Would certainly go back to explore the menu more. ”

“ Spent the last weekend at Rosalita's Café celebrating our grandson's first birthday. Apparently a sports bar many years ago, it's a full-fledged Mexican Restaurant with awesome service, great food, and a bar area that was a great spot to hang out. Very roomy to hold our party. The food, appetizers and main course food was abundant and very tasty and kept coming. Desserts were awesome also. Staff was really helpful and ensured all of the guests and especially the Birthday baby had a wonderful time. ”

“ Having a large ethnic population in NJ, Mexican places are common. Rosalita's stands out for its authenticity. First you are treated to chips and salsa. The salsa is fresh and had a great balanced taste. Homemade salsa will set the pace for some great food. Appetizers and main meals come in vegetarian options. An example, stuffed jalapeños came with no chorizo and taste great. Vegetarian quesadillas have more than just onions and peppers. They include roasted zucchini and carrots. Also worth trying are the different variations of burritos. The pulled pork Hawaiian burrito is a fav. The atmosphere is true Mexican with a large amount of flair. ”

Here's what you can expect: complimentary chips and salsa, an extensive list of margaritas and Mexican dishes (why hello burrito that goes by fuego - which lives up to its name), friendly service, and prices that are more than reasonable. All of these things go a long way these days and make a big difference when we are choosing to eat out. The restaurant is big and is great for groups, couples, and families. Wrap-around booth - sign me up! Rosalita's is more than just a Springsteen reference. It's a fun experience and a place that I plan to visit again and again. ”
